Ice Palace Fun

We went for round two at the Carolina Ice Palace, and ran into some friends from church - the girls really love ice skating (with the prop of course) so it might be something we will let them do more often, especially in the summer when we are sweltering!  Haley had a pretty rough fall on her head, but was able to tell Matt how many fingers he was holding up, so everything is fine. :)

Snow in Charleston

Matt and I had our Valentine's Day date Friday night, and little did we know that we would be dealing with the first winter storm Charleston had seen since '98.  It was so fun - the snow was really heavy and our Subaru was very able, so we had a lot of fun "trying" to crash it.  We ate at the Mustard Seed, watching the snow fall, and then went to see "Dear John" - I totally tricked Matt into seeing it (Hi Vivian!) but we both moderately enjoyed it, mainly because of all Sullivan's Island, Charleston and Isle of Palms sets - awesome scenery!  Sadly, because of it being our date night, we don't have any pictures of the girls in the snow, but you can be sure that Mema got plenty, so I will update with those as soon as I get them.  Until then... :)
