A Girl and Her Stick One of my main hopes for my children is that they find a huge amount of joy in what God has created - what they see around them.  I hope being outdoors, surrounded by beauty, gives them life.  I hope it will always bring them closer to God - that they will SEE Him when they see what He has done.

No school means "nature day"!

I'm not really sure WHY I always groan inside when Halloween comes around -it's probably a bad combo of my cheapness, my too-busyness and my laziness.  Anyway, we jumped at the chance to go to the Homecoming game :).  The girls had gotten to dress up earlier in the week, and we left candy on our porch for the neighbor kids, so everybody won, right??
