Miscellaneous

I am giving blogger another chance to attempt to upload photos for me - let's see if it works... As you can see, we are attempting to begin pottytraining with Ana - it has been off and on for a while (I am NOT a "trainer" by any stretch of the imagination - I pretty much let Haley decide when it was convenient for her to start using the bathroom :). Anyway, the cat incentive hasn't really paid off yet. We'll see.
In other news, that is Moby's stray dog friend staring at him through the bars. We can't stand the animal and have been plotting to "do away with him" - he has given Moby some sort of eye illness, causing gunk and other grossness. Blasted strays. Our neighbors have been feeding him so he stays around.
Well, no BIG surprise...blogger has rejected my photos again. I'll try something else.
Oh, and those are our homegrown flowers in the front - the girls planted them - they are very proud.
And Papa and Uncle Ted came through to visit on their way out to Rocoroyvo, where my Uncle and Aunt work - my Aunt Sharon was just diagnosed with Hodgkins lymphoma and so my mom is with her in El Paso while my dad and uncle are having to pack up the house so they can move to the U.S. for treatment - please pray for them during this very difficult time - she is the healthiest woman in the world so this really came out of nowhere.

Comments

  1. When did Haley start showing interest in using the potty? I'm coming to grips with the fact that Jaida might possibly not be trained by the time the next one arrives; she is so random with the potty.

Prayers are with you guys and with Ted and Sharon and family.

Name Ideas Please

Exercising with Dad and enjoying her mini slinky. Ok, some of you had some, uh, interesting name choices for our new little one. We will have an ultrasound before Christmas, so then we can start narrowing it down, but does anyone have some REAL ideas? We like short uncomplicated names with meaning. We don't like names that remind us of lousy people or strange celebrities, and none of those weird new names that people our age are naming their kids, like "Christman" or something. (That is a real name - I know a little girl AND a little boy named that. It is pronounced like Christmas, only not.) So yeah, give us some ideas. Does anyone like "Paul"? Is that too old sounding? What about Ana for a girl? Hmmm...

GRAND PRIZE

Ok, we decided - if we pick the name you suggested, you will receive... 1) an autographed portrait of Haley (we realize that isn't very relevant, but we have some extras - ha ha!) 2) the honor of setting up a trust fund for the new baby, minimum starting amount $500 3) a call on the first day the new baby says his/her name 4) a shout out on the BLOG!!! YESSSSS!!! We are of course extremely generous - please don't be astounded by the magnitude of these prizes. Good luck everyone!!

Baby Names

Just in case it is a girl, which we are actually pretty sure it will be, here are some options we are thinking about - let us know what you think. These are our top five. 1) Maude 2) Hortense 3) Magda 4) Dorcas 5) Zipporah
