1) Lots of loud noises, all the time.
2) Dirt, everywhere.
3) Strange shirtless men all over the place, at all hours.
4) Lots of chances to practice my Spanish - like, for example, when I backed out of my driveway into a huge truck today. My bumper: dinged a little / His truck: spotless.
5) Adding on to #4 - vehicles parked all around, but thankfully never IN, my driveway.
6) Everyone is new, so everyone wants to meet everyone else, and be good neighbors/friends
7) Lots of extra tasks, like laying sod.
8) Many many insects, and, subsequently, insect bites.
9) More men, with shirts this time, knocking at the door, selling things like alarm systems, garage door openers, cable, etc.
10) JOY!!! At knowing that no one else has ever soaked in my garden tub before MEEEEEE!!! :)
